As one of Shanghai's first dedicated international contemporary photography galleries, m97 Gallery aims to enrich the already active Shanghai gallery and art community by exhibiting both international and Chinese artists working with photography. Spanning the various genres of photography from portraiture to conceptual photography to documentary photography, m97 Gallery provides a platform for photographic-based artists that are working in China or addressing China-related issues in their work.
m97 Gallery is located on the second floor of No. 97 Moganshan Road, in Shanghai's Suzhou Creek area, which is home to dozens of art galleries and artist studios. m97 is a 300-square-meter gallery space with a 200-square-meter main exhibition room, and three smaller viewing rooms where visitors can see additional works of the artists we represent.
